The history of Forza Motorsport begun on May 3, 2005 when the first Forza Motorsport game has been launched on the market. The new Forza Horizon will be the fifth game in the series, but it is being considered more like of a spin-off instead of the next true member of the series. The game made its official debut on 23 October 2012 for Xbox 360 ad it is priced at $59,99.
The games is based around a fictitious festival called the Horizon Festival, set in Colorado, USA, where the open road is yours to tule. The game incorporates many different gameplay aspects from previous Forza Motorsport titles, like the large variety of cars, realistic physics and high definition graphics, but it combines them with a festival atmosphere and the freedom of the open road. "Forza Horizon" offers an immersive pick-up-and-play open-road racing experience and features the unrivaled realism, diversity and innovation that are hallmarks of the "Forza Motorsport" franchise.
Horizon is set to feature the physics of Forza Motorsport 4, which have been optimised to work on the 65 variants of terrain said to be present in the game. Players will be able to drive anywhere their cars can reach, from stunning mountain highways to dusty back roads.
